Meet Your Host - Rhonda Sweat

For more than 15 years, Rhonda vacationed in the Boone, North Carolina area and fell in love with the beauty of the Appalachian Mountains. Over time, those visits led her just a little farther down the road into Johnson County, Tennessee — where she discovered the quiet charm, breathtaking views, and welcoming community that ultimately captured her heart.

In 2023, Rhonda purchased a vacation home in the area, and by 2024 she made the decision to relocate permanently. She purchased a beautiful log cabin in Trade, Tennessee and soon after opened Farmhouse Shoppes, a charming local store featuring antiques, gifts, and home décor.

Shortly thereafter, Rhonda and her partner continued investing in the community by purchasing a 38-acre farm in Trade, now known as Creekview Farms, as well as the property in Neva that has become Mountain View RV Resort.

Rhonda is passionate about creating welcoming spaces where visitors can experience the natural beauty, hospitality, and charm that first drew her to the mountains many years ago.
